Pyrotechnics on the 4th

On the Fourth of July, I joined friends at their home for a cookout party. Several families gathered to enjoy fresh foods, games, and fireworks. It was good to be reunited with some friends and make a couple of new ones. We ate chicken, filet mignon, potatoes, corn and other vegetables, chicken sausage, finger foods, and drank various drinks that were available.

This is me and Victoria below – I really like her flag shirt! It is hard to believe that we have known each other for maybe 10 years.

I took a few firework photos out of focus and I liked this one! I am a bit obsessed with fireflies and cafe string lights, so I wanted to capture at least one out-of-focus fireworks photo.

Some of the fireworks photos remind me of stars and nebulas. Others with stark lighting make me think of cityscapes.

Well, that is all for our Fourth of July photos! I will resume Honduras film photos later this week. If you missed the previous posts, click here: Sneak Peek, Part 1, and Part 2. I will likely break up the last two rolls of film into two separate posts, since one roll is black and white Kodak Tri-X and the other is color Kodak Portra.

Thank you for stopping by today!
