I include this passage from the Bible not as political commentary, but rather as commentary on oneself amidst difficult times. What you believe in your core will affect how you weather different difficulties in life. I have seen the behavioral evidence of this. It is especially evident in recent years as national and international headlines vie for our emotional response and engagement. Just this year, I have seen fear and anxiety grip loved ones. Yet, others behave as though they are peacefully confident in the Lord. My question to you is with introspection. Are you so firm footed that you know you will not falter when the going is tough?
